Marty Morrissey and Dublin GAA stars Brian Howard and Sinéad Wylde teamed up to launch Clash of the Companies 2024!

They were joined by the charming former Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin patient Róisín for a lively, spy-themed photocall at the RDS. Róisín was keeping a keen eye on proceedings with her magnifying glass and spy outfit as she showcased the theme for this year’s event.

Marty, Brian and Sinéad brought their competitive edge from the GAA pitch to the RDS, as they challenged companies to find their own competitive streak by taking on their business rivals on the streets of Dublin with the goal of being crowned Clash of the Companies champions!

Clash of the Companies is Children’s Health Foundations thrilling team building and fundraising challenge, taking place on Friday, 28th June at the RDS in Dublin. Companies enter teams of eight to compete in a unique and collaborative challenge, taking participants to various locations across Dublin to solve clues, complete group challenges and perform physical activities in a race to earn as many points as possible and be crowned champions.

Funds raised from Clash of the Companies 2024 will go towards giving every sick child in Children’s Health Ireland’s hospitals and urgent care centres the very best chance. By taking part, companies will help Children’s Health Foundation purchase life-saving equipment, invest in ground-breaking new paediatric research, fund patient and family supports and invest in new and emerging therapies.

Every year, hundreds of thousands of children like Róisín rely on the expert care and compassion of the Children’s Health Ireland staff, and events like Clash of the Companies play a crucial role in helping them to provide this care.

Róisín was born with congenital nephrotic syndrome – a very rare, serious kidney disorder that she was diagnosed with at two years old. Róisín spent many years in and out of Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin, having both kidneys removed, receiving dialysis and eventually receiving a transplant.
