Children’s Health Foundation is Ireland’s largest and foremost charity working to give sick children of Ireland the best possible chance across all Children’s Health Ireland hospitals and urgent care centres. Our mission is to work together with trusts, foundations, and philanthropic groups to provide world class facilities, research, and compassionate loving care for every sick child in Ireland.
Children’s Health Foundation, working with our partners in Children’s Health Ireland, raise funds to meet the needs of sick children in hospitals and urgent care centres across four key areas:
- Pioneering Research & Innovation – enabling the development of innovative new treatments that will have long-term impact not only in Ireland but for sick children all over the world.
- Advancing Medical Equipment & Systems – allowing us to secure state-of-the-art equipment to provide the most effective and best possible treatment.
- Patient, Family & Staff Impact Initiatives – the impact of caring for a sick child is felt throughout their families, our care doesn’t end with the patients, we strive to improve quality of life at every step.
- New & Emerging Services / Development Initiatives – the needs of patients are continuously evolving, and in order to best serve these children we fund innovative new services to meet these needs.
Childhood illness in all its forms is persistent, indiscriminate, and often devastating. Ensuring that patients have access to the very highest standards of care, world-class facilities and benefit from the most up-to-date research that will change young lives for the better, the funding provided by trusts and foundations enables us to bring real long-term impact for sick children and their families.

Children’s Health Foundation partners with a wide variety of trusts, foundations, and philanthropic groups from Ireland and all over the world to deliver meaningful impact for the sick children of Ireland. We understand that many trusts and foundations exist to raise money to tackle a particular challenge or with a specific remit in mind.
We work collaboratively to identify projects that resonate with these ambitions to ensure the greatest lasting impact from your donations. We will ensure your support is directed where it will make the greatest impact and provide reporting on your donation to ensure YOU see the impact you are creating for those projects that mean the most to you, or to those that you represent.
